He wasn’t a Gaelic speaker, but my granny is, so he became Seanair to us. My dad is now Seanair to my kids.
I’ve already told my husband that he’ll be Seanair if we have grandkids - he doens’t have a say in the matter!
This project was a chance to talk about family and swap stories and photos of our much-missed seanairs.
Seanair is a lovely, caring word. For me, it means safe.
